Join Our Unlicensed Practice of Law Committee

We have openings for both lawyers and non-lawyers on our Unlicensed Practice of Law (UPL) Standing Committee, appointed by the Supreme Court of Georgia.

UPL Standing Committee
  • Role: Review district committee recommendations regarding litigation and consider requests for advisory opinions.
  • Commitment: Meet every 6-12 months (in person, by phone or via Zoom), with 1-2 hours of prep and 2-3 hour meetings.
  • Open Positions: Lawyers in Judicial Administrative Districts 4 (DeKalb/Rockdale), 8 (Milledgeville area) and 10 (Augusta area).
