How to Join the Section

In April of each year, the State Bar sends out dues notices for the July-June fiscal year. The Appellate Practice Section is listed on this notice, along with all of the other State Bar sections. To join the Appellate Practice Section, simply sign up to join the Section on the dues notice (one must be a member of the State Bar to join a section).

Also, one can join throughout the Bar year. After January 1 of every Bar year, Section membership is half price. If joining during the year and without the dues notice, please make a check payable to the State Bar of Georgia in the appropriate amount (the current annual dues for the Section are $15.00) and list your name, State Bar number, mailing address and state your desire to join the Appellate Practice Section.
