Consultations
While the Law Practice Management Program offers a telephone help line, book and videotape checkouts, and many sample forms and checklists, sometimes the law firm can benefit from an in-depth evaluation of existing procedures based on a personal visit by a LPM consultant.
- Consultations are confidential -- no information about the law firm is released to anyone outside of our program.
- Consultations are conducted for a full day to review all issues identified by both the firm and our program's consultant.
- Consultation fees are very reasonable and are based on the type of consultation and number of attorneys in the firm. There is no charge for travel to any law office within Georgia. The flat fee includes the consultant's time in travel, time in your office and, when applicable, the time spent in writing a detailed report of recommendations.
There are two types of consultation:
The Technical Consultation involves training you and your staff on the most effective use of a variety of popular law office software applications. Please click kimh@gabar.org or pamm@gabar.org to request a Technical Pre-Consultation Questionnaire.
The General Consultation deals with law office management processes necessary to maximize a firm's day-to-day operational effectiveness by identifying and isolating those issues you may feel are slowing you down. A General Consultation is followed by a written assessment of the areas discussed and our consultant's recommendations thereon. Please click kimh@gabar.org or pamm@gabar.org to request a General Consultation Pre-Questionnaire.
To set up a consultation, please contact Natalie Kelly at (404) 527-8770, nataliek@gabar.org, Kim Henry at (404) 527-8772, kimh@gabar.org or Pamela Myers at pamm@gabar.org.
