This is a two-part program designed for any attorney who wishes to learn more about Georgia based companies that are interested in hiring diverse outside counsel teams.

Who
All attorneys in private practice should attend Part I of this skill-building symposium.
Law Firm Partners and In-house counsel of companies and municipalities will serve as panelists.
What
Part I
The executive director will explain the program objectives of the symposium and the application process for Part II.
Law Firm partners will teach critical skills regarding developing business for your firm, the importance of understanding your firm's diversity initiatives and more!
In-house counsel will address what their companies look for when identifying outside counsel to handle their legal matters, what skill sets are required, why diversity matters and how a firm's commitment to diversity is measured.
Part II
Meetings of pre-selected diverse counsel with in-house counsel on May 15, 2008, at the State Bar Building with sponsoring companies and government entities.
Cost: $100
Members of Diversity Committee FREE and attorneys of their firms attend for $65.

Sponsorship Opportunities
Sponsorship opportunities are $2,500. Sponsoring firms receive up to 10 registrations free. Any additional attendees must pay $100 (unless the firm is a member of the Diversity Committee). Each sponsoring firm and company will receive the following marketing opportunities:
- Firm name in Fulton Daily Report
- Firm name in The Georgia Bar Journal
- Firm name on State Bar of Georgia website
- Firm name listed on the Business Development Symposium program and signage
