I am running for this seat because I want to serve the attorneys of this circuit and ensure that we have a strong voice on the State Bar Board of Governors. I grew up in this circuit and have spent the vast majority of my professional career here. I believe that the one who occupies this position can do lots for our members at the state level. There are past and present members of our circuit who I believe are worthy candidates for awards offered by the Georgia Bar. If I elected, it is my intent to nominate fellow members to be considered for these honors. In fact, I have done this in the past without holding the position. While holding this seat would be an honor, that is not why I am seeking it. Rather, I want to work on behalf of the fellow lawyers of this circuit and I hope to bring it the advocacy and recognition I believe it deserves. My door will always be open and please call me should you wish to discuss my motivations in greater depth.
