Local Bar Awards - Call for Entries

Each year, the State Bar of Georgia's Local Bar Activities Committee sponsors the Local Bar Activity Awards, recognizing excellence in local and circuit bar associations. These awards are intended to encourage local and voluntary bars to promote activities within their communities relating to the improvement of the administration of justice, the objectives of the State Bar of Georgia, and the image of lawyers. The awards are presented at the State Bar's annual meeting.

We encourage each local bar to submit an entry. The deadline for submission is May 9. Download the criteria at www.gabar.org/public/pdf/news/08_local_bar_awards.pdf for each category and guidelines for submission.
