Pay Bar Dues
Bar Rule 1-501 provides that dues for members of the State Bar of Georgia are due and payable July 1 of each year. A lawyer who fails to pay the license fee by September 1 ceases to be a member in good standing and is ineligible to practice.
Pay by Credit Card or Print Invoice
Currently the credit card system is unable to process new members, status changes or payments for more than one year. If your payment involves one of these situations, please call Membership at 404-527-8777 for assistance.
*Dues notices were mailed out at the end of April. If your mailing information is not current, please update your address to ensure you receive dues notices on time.
Dues to the State Bar of Georgia are due and payable annually on July 1st.
Payments must be postmarked or paid by credit card by August 1st to avoid a late fee.
Dues paid after August 1st should include a late fee of $75.00
Dues paid after January 1st should include a late fee of $175.00
