Section 5. Terms on Executive Council

Each member of the Executive Council shall hold office for the following terms:

(a) The Officers, Directors, Committee Chairpersons, and presidents or chairpersons of Affiliate Units shall serve for a period of time concurrent with the term of their respective positions as defined within these bylaws.

(b) Each member of the Executive Council representing a Federal Judicial District and the nonresident members of the Executive Council shall hold office for a period of two (2) years or until their successors have been duly chosen and qualified.

(c) Each member at large of the Executive Council shall hold office for a period of one (1) year or until their successors have been duly chosen and qualified.

(d) Notwithstanding the above, any member of the Executive Council who shall fail to meet the attendance requirement set forth in Article X, Section 2(b) shall be automatically removed from office on the Executive Council, unless such attendance requirement has been suspended by a majority vote of the Executive Council.
