Section 7. Executive Committee

There shall be an Executive Committee of the Executive Council of the Young Lawyers Division. The Executive Committee shall be composed of the following:

  1. the president of the Young Lawyers Division;
  2. the president-elect of the Young Lawyers Division;
  3. the immediate past president of the Young Lawyers Division;
  4. the secretary of the Young Lawyers Division;
  5. the treasurer of the Young Lawyers Division;
  6. two members of the Young Lawyers Division Executive Council to be elected by that Council;
  7. The directors, minimum of four appointed by the President, of the Young Lawyers Division, ex officio but nonvoting; and
  8. The editor of the Young Lawyers Division Newsletter, ex officio but nonvoting.

The Executive Committee shall meet upon the call of the president of the Young Lawyers Division or upon the written request addressed to the president of a majority of the voting members of the Executive Committee and shall exercise all of the powers of the Executive Council between meetings of the Council except those enumerated in Section 6(d) of Article III, Section 12 of Article IV, Section 1 of Article VIII, and Section 1 of Article IX. The Executive Committee shall report to the Executive Council at each meeting thereof.
