Standing Executive Committee Policy 800 (Fastcase Policy)

Fastcase Access Policy (Adopted Sept. 29, 2006)

The Executive Committee, by unanimous voice vote, approved proposed Standing Executive Committee Policy 800 regarding Fastcase as follows:

Standing Executive Committee Policy 800 - Fastcase
Access to Fastcase is available (without charge except where noted) to:

• All members in good standing of the State Bar of Georgia;
• All ABA or Georgia accredited law schools in Georgia including their teachers and current students;
• All ABA accredited paralegal programs in Georgia colleges including their teachers and current students for an annual fee of $1,000 per school; and
• All Georgia non-lawyer judges (magistrate, municipal and probate) for a $100 annual fee per judge.  Requests should come from the appropriate judicial council and should include ICJE or other Fastcase training for the judges.

Per contract with Fastcase, access to Fastcase is not available to the public, including libraries offering public access, or to criminal justice, business law, and other law-related programs in Georgia colleges.
