Section 4. Duties of Secretary in Elections

The secretary shall perform the following duties in connection with elections:

  1. Officers. The secretary shall cause a notice to be published and mailed to all members of the Young Lawyers Division no later than October 1 of each year setting forth:
    1. the positions of president-elect, treasurer and secretary which shall be filled by election by mail-out ballot;
    2. the eligibility requirements for such positions;
    3. the nomination and election procedure; and
    4. the names and addresses of members of the Election Committee.
  2. Executive Council. The secretary shall cause a notice to be published and mailed to all members of the Young Lawyers Division not less than thirty days before each Annual Meeting of the Young Lawyers Division setting forth:
    1. the positions on the Executive Council which shall be filled by election by mail-out ballot;
    2. the eligibility requirements for such positions;
    3. the nomination and election procedure; and
    4. the names and addresses of members of the Election Committee.
