State Bar of Georgia Lawyers Serving the Public and the Justice System

Section 2. Purpose

The purposes of the Young Lawyers Division shall be:

1. to foster among the members of the bar of this State the principles of duty and service to the public;
2. to improve the administration of justice;
3. to advance the science of law;
4. to further the aims, purposes and ideals of the State Bar of Georgia;
5. to foster discussion and interchange of ideas relating to the duties, responsibilities and problems of the younger members of the State Bar of Georgia;
6. to aid and promote the advancement of the younger members of the State Bar of Georgia in the activities of the bar;
7. to encourage the interest and participation of the younger members of the State Bar of Georgia in the activities of the bar; and,
8. to provide a full and complete program of activities and projects in those areas of the bar in which the younger member is particularly suited.
