State Bar of GeorgiaAs the seventh largest mandatory bar in the country, the State Bar of Georgia strives to provide quality customer service. The main point of contact for most members is the Membership Department.

The Membership Department updates all membership computer records with changes or payments; prepares annual dues notices and processes income; furnishes labels and demographics regarding members and sections; prepares the alphabetical and geographical portions of the State Bar Directory & Handbook; prepares letters of good standing for members upon written request at a nominal charge of $15; furnishes membership enrollment packets to all new attorneys and enrolls them accordingly; sends out notices of judicial vacancies for the Judicial Nominating Commission; and administers State Bar elections under the direction of the Elections Committee.
